Bebren Table lives at bebren.com and exists to publish Armenian recipes. We are not in the business of collecting personal data, and this page explains the small amount of information that does pass through the site, why it does, and what say you have in the matter.

The short version

You can read every page of this site without creating an account, without handing over your name, and without filling in a single form. The information described below is the routine technical data that almost any website receives, plus the advertising cookies described in the Google AdSense section.

What reaches our servers

When your browser requests a page, it automatically transmits certain technical details: an IP address, the browser and operating system in use, the page requested, the time of the request, and the address of the page that linked you here. This information arrives in standard server logs. We use it in aggregate to understand which recipes people enjoy and to keep the site running smoothly, nothing more.

Cookies on this site

Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to store. Bebren Table itself sets only functional cookies, if any. Advertising partners may set their own cookies as described in the next section. Every major browser lets you view, restrict or delete cookies through its settings, and the site remains fully readable with cookies switched off.

How long information is kept

Server logs rotate on a short schedule and old entries are discarded. Correspondence is kept only as long as the conversation is active, then deleted in periodic cleanups.

Keeping data safe

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to any stored information is limited to the people who operate the site. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but the small footprint of data we handle keeps the exposure equally small.

Visitors under thirteen

Bebren Table is a general audience cooking site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under thirteen years of age. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct or erase personal data that concerns you, to object to certain processing, or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we hold so little, most requests are satisfied simply and quickly; write to us using the details below and we will respond.
